Major game-breaking bug: fix incoming


Always thoroughly test your games, everybody.

As I was working on my next game last night, I decided to boot up mARS on a whim and found that the second vendor simply didn't spawn at all. Testing again this morning led to identical results, but I still need to test whether or not this applies to all subsequent vendors. Not sure why this is happening, and I'm not sure what broke in development to cause this. It's been nearly a year since I released 1.0.0, so it might take me a while to get this figured out, but I'm hopeful I can wrap this up quickly.

Considering this is a major bug that makes the game nearly impossible, I'm not sure how it flew under the radar as well as it did. Oh well. If all goes well I'll have a new version out within the week.

After that, I'll probably start making posts about the next game I'm working on. Development is going somewhat well and I'm having fun. It'll be pretty different and much bigger than mARS when I finish it (you can blame scope creep for that).

I was able to find the source of the error pretty quickly. I'm going to try to fix up a couple other things that might be confusing. I'll have 1.0.1 ready by tomorrow.


EDIT 2:

Decided to do the thorough testing that I obviously neglected last year and found some more minor stuff. Also decided to rebalance a few things and do some general cleanup. I'm pretty happy with where it's at right now, but I want to test some more and really make sure this one actually works. The update will be out tomorrow. I WILL NOT delay it again, I've got to get back to making my next game anyway.
